On Sunday, May 11, students from the Masters Program, Childhood and Movement: Motor Activity for children 0-6 years old, from the University of Verona, directed by Prof. Guido Fumagalli and coordinated by Dr. Patrizia Tortella planned and implemented motor activities for children from 0 to 6 years old. The event was held at the middle school Chiarle in Peschiera del Garda , where the playground was divided into specialized play areas designed for children from 0 to 1, 2 to 3 years, 4 to 5 years and 6 to 10 years old. The playground was quickly colored in yellow, with the t-shirts offered by the Research Center for Early Childhood Motor Development , offered to parents and children in attendance. The town of Peschiera , represented by the education commissioner Dr. Stephen Fraccaroli and General Secretary Dr. Stefano Venturi offered a packed lunch to all participants (180 parents and children) and the middle school Chiarle made available its facilities .
This is an excellent example of the synergy between the City and the University, working together to benefit children and the whole community.
